All My New Friends

I was born at a very fortunate time, since I have lots of friends my age to play with. I'm excited to teach them all the things that I have learned in my time here in this world. These are some pictures of me new friends and my advice for them as well....
This is my second cousin Sydnie. It took me some time to figure out that relationship. She was born a few weeks ago. Notice how I am twice her size. She is tiny.

This is my friend Harrison. I didn't get a picture of the two of us together yet, but here he is in the hospital. He was just born a week ago.

I want to share what I have learned with my new friends, so Harrison and Sydnie here is what I have learned in my first 2 months.
  • Food is great. Make sure you eat lots of it. I have found the more I eat the more rolls I get and people seem to think my rolls are cute.
  • The big people go crazy when you smile. All you have to do is turn up the side of your mouth and they think you are amazing. They take pictures, show friends and laugh themselves about it.
  • Blowing bubbles in your bath tub is so fun. Just release your butt cheeks and let the fun begin.
  • You have to keep your parents on their toes. I have found peeing and pooping on them or when they take my diaper off is a fun way to keep them guessing.
  • Your thumb can be an awesome sucking toy. Its better than the pacifier because it is always with you. You don't have to rely on those crazy parents to have a pacifier with them. You carry your thumb with you all the time.
Those are the biggies that I have learned in my two months of life....I hope that helps little ones.

Relax and Take a Load Off

My life can be pretty stressful sometimes. There are a lot of things I have to deal with all at the same time (like breathing and sucking all at once). Since my life is so jam packed, I have found a new way to relax after a long day. Its a nice long lukewarm bath. My sensitive skin isn't ready for the long hot baths. I love my bath it helps me relax and take a load off. You all should try it once in a while. I think I have discovered something pretty cool.

Here are some censored photos of me in the bath tub. I made sure only to upload the appropriate ones. Though my mommy took some scandalous ones.

After my bath I like to put on my robe and lounge around the house. Here are some pictures for those of you not fortunate enough to live in my house and see this outfit first hand.

All the People I Met

I have been a little slack lately in writing about my vacation as I had promised. I gave you the overview but are some more specifics. Basically my life rules. I have figured out the secret to life. Are you ready for this because here is goes......the steps to success (in order)!
1) Eat a lot
2) Get chubby from eating a lot
3) Smile with your chubby cheeks
4) Spend time with your family far away
5) The family far away will want to hold you
6) And there you have it you will be held for days!

There it is folks. I plan on making millions off this and already have the copyrights in the works so don' t get any ideas. Here are some pictures of my great plan in action.

Me with my grandpa and uncle walter. This is my great grandma. Not many people are lucky enough to have one of those!

Grandpa Terry
Grandpops Derek

Aunt Crissy

Thats me with Grandpop Derek's Dad. His name is King and his sister Sarah.
This is me with my great aunt and uncle Beth and Gordon.

That is me smiling with my grandma. Thinking about how I have all these adults right where I wanted them. Holding me. Man I know how to get them to do what I want.

It's that time of year....back to school time!

Well in my case I have never been to school before so it's not really back to school for me. This was my first time so I was excited. My mom was not for some reason. She was not a happy mommy all morning getting me ready to go. She was mumbling something about working and leaving me and how they were both bummers. Here I am already to go in the morning watching mommy getting ready. Women take a while you know. I warned her not to put mascara on but she did it anyway.

When she dropped me off she was crying. Kind of like I do when I am hungry and want to tell her about it. I was totally happy to hang out with Jenna (she's the one in charge of me when mommy is at that place she calls work) and my new friends Bryson and Maya. They are older than me but pretty cool people. Mommy on the other hand was a mess. That mascara of hers was all under her eyes and she wouldn't let go of me. She is going to have to just learn to let go and relax. Like me....I'm totally relaxed.
Well I had a busy first day. I wet 4 diapers, ate almost all the yummy milk mommy left for me, watched the other kids play fun games and slept for an hour in Ms. Jenna's arms. I wasn't quite ready to sleep by myself in a new place. You have to be careful of new people and know where they are at all times (until you know you can trust them). Overall it was a good day but I was happy to see my mommy again at the end of the day. It's nice to know that she isn't going to abandon me and she will always come get me again!

Here I am at the end of the day. I was pooped from all the activities. Notice the new outfit from the morning. It was a messy day. Here is my bag as well. Even has my name on it...pretty fancy hunh?

PDA...Been there and done that!

For those of you who know me well (and you all should, I have been pouring my heart and soul out on this Blog for weeks) you know that I was born with a PDA. No I did not come out holding the newest iPhone or Palm Pilot. Who would want the new iPhone any way with all those reception problems?
A PDA is a medical problem that I was born with. Those of you who are not as medically hip, it is a valve that has to do with oxygen and blood that closes on babies as soon as they are born. My was not closed. I like to do things on my own time, not when everyone else is doing things. Because it wasn't closed I spent a day in this place they called the NICU, had to have several old men squirt gel on my chest and look at my heart and visit more doctors. Those doctors just can't get enough of me.
Well I went to see another one of those doctors this week and they said that I was all better. No more PDA and a perfectly wonderful looking heart. When my mom heard the news, she told the doctor that she was glad she never had to see him again. I'm not sure that was the most polite thing to say, maybe I will have to talk to my mommy about her manners. I may still have issues pooping, spitting up and peeing on people but even I know not to say things like that. Other than mom's issues it was a happy day. These are pictures of me happy about no PDA!

Back From The Land of Vacation

I have been on the move lately. Most of you know I traveled up to Maine to see where my mommy came from. (I do know that she came from my Grandma but thats not what I am referring to).
In the 9 days that I was up there I met a lot of people and did a lot of crazy things, all of which made me very happy as pictured to the right. This picture pretty much sums up my feelings on my vacation. I laughed and had fun. I will write in more detail about my adventures but until then here are a few highlights of my vacation.

--> My parents took me on this really cool thing that went high in the air. No one on it (I think they called it a plane) said how cute I was. This was very disappointing because every where I go people normally say how cute I am. They kept looking at me like I was about to ruin their lives. I don't know why.

--> I was held a lot by all sorts of people. Some were old, some were young, some tall and some short. Some boys and some girls. I am loved by all sorts of people. My cuteness knows no bounds. I loved all the attention.

-->Went swimming. Man was it cold. More on this later.

--> I learned a new langugage. Very similar to the one I am used to but scattered with words like "wicked" and the dropping of r's. Not once did I hear ya'll or mention of sweet tea the whole time I was there.

--> I watched a lot of Red Sox games with my Grandpa and uncle Walter. They used the term, "bunch of bums" a lot. Those Red Sox are very generous though. Every time I watched their games, they were winning and decided to give up the win to the other team. Isn't that nice of them?

Well that is pretty much an overview of what my past week is like. More to come... I can't tell you everything at once. I have to leave a little suspense to keep you wanting.

On Vacation

I wanted to let my public know that I am officially on Vacation this upcoming week. My Mom and Dad took me up to Maine to visit my Mommy's Family. I really needed a vacation you know. I have worked really hard in the past 6 weeks and I need some time to regenerate and relax. Life is stressful you know. So I will be on a blogging break for a week but stay tuned for Blog updates when I return....I am sure there will be a lot!
